Enrolments at Jamboree Community Kindergarten

How do I enrol my child?

New families are always welcome at JCK. To experience our learning environment we invite families to visit and view our kindergarten. We have highly experienced teachers and Director who would love to discuss your children’s needs and show you what we offer.

Waitlist form

Please Note: The wait list is extensive for 2026

If you would like to put your child on our waitlist, please complete Our Waitlist Form (CLICK HERE)

Waitlist

Placing your child on the waiting list is the first step in the enrolment process, but it does not guarantee a place at the centre as there are often more children on the waitlist than places available. We are happy to accept children on our waitlist from birth and we encourage you to place your child’s name on the list as early as possible.

Offers of a place

We contact prospective families in June / July of the year prior to a child’s correct year of attendance to offer places for the following year. Families have two weeks in which to pay the $100 non-refundable enrolment deposit to secure their child’s place. Once the deposit is paid, you will receive email confirmation. Parent interviews are held with the teacher prior to starting the new year at kindergarten.

Fees

Term fees for 2025

All eligible aged children who meet the criteria under the Free Kindy umbrella do not have to pay any fees for the Kindergarten program from the 1st of January 2024.

A tuition fee of $2,510.50 is charged for each 10-week term for non-eligible aged students, or those who are claiming 30 hours per fortnight of Kindy already either at another Kindy or at JCK. Please ask for more information regarding your subsidy from government funding. Jamboree Community Kindergarten also reserves the right to make changes to fees as necessary. To view full Fee Schedule for 2025, please ‘Statement of Fees’ below or contact our office via phone or email.

After Kindy Care fees for 2025

JCK receives no funding to provide AKC and relies solely on parent contribution to fund the program. A child’s enrolment pattern is continual until a family provides two weeks written notice to cancel or change the enrolment. Fees will be charged at $37 per afternoon and casual care will be available upon request at the discretion of management at a cost of $42 per afternoon. Sessions are permanently booked and paid in advance before the commencement of each term to allow for planning of staff requirements. Care will be offered after the kindergarten session until 5.30pm. After kindy care will be staffed by appropriately qualified educators in line with current regulations.
